I ama recent returnee from Iraq. We did a Relief In Place (RIP) with another unit to take our place in detainee operations. Getting mail was a GREAT thing that we looked forward to. It could be anything and it was exciting to get mail. Evrything is used and the stuff that isn’t is traded/given to someone else in the unit. Also you might want to limit packages to a specific person in a specific unit. They were limiting “TO ANY SOLDIER” packages in our camp due to dangerous stuff inside of them.
Your charity is amazing! Though small, it is full of heart and I know that once more people learn about the wonderful things you are doing for our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines that they would be more than willing to pitch in to help as well!!!!
